Women in Construction Week 2025: Breaking Barriers, Shaping the Future

From 2nd to 8th March, Women in Construction Week highlights the vital role women play in shaping the built environment — while recognising the ongoing need for greater representation in the industry. Although progress is being made, with over 320,000 women now working in construction in the UK, challenges still exist.
At Geberit, we are proud to celebrate the contributions of women in our workforce. In this feature, our female employees share their personal journeys — how they overcame obstacles, built successful careers, and continue to inspire change in a traditionally male-dominated sector. Their insights highlight why diversity isn’t just important for inclusion — it’s key to driving innovation and success across the industry.
As a company committed to equality, we believe in fostering an environment where talent thrives, regardless of gender. Read the full feature (, 687 KB) to discover how the construction industry is evolving, why diversity matters, and what we can all do to empower the next generation of women in construction.
