Geberit Completes 150 Acts of Kindness

Geberit has raised nearly £14,000 for various charities through its ‘150 Acts of Kindness’ initiative, a year-long programme of fundraising and volunteering to mark the company’s 150th anniversary in 2024.
Employees organised and took part in various events throughout the year, individually and also in teams. In total, 153 generous acts were completed, including donations to local food banks, volunteering at local charities and raising money by taking on physical challenges. Altogether Geberit employees volunteered 539 hours to local projects and good causes.
The initiative raised £13,861 for various charities, including £3,183 for CRASH UK, the construction industry’s charity that helps homelessness and hospice organisations with their construction projects. The amount raised for CRASH UK, of which Geberit is a patron, was matched by the company to make £6,366.
Mark Larden, Managing Director at Geberit UK, said: “It’s been a fantastic year and a fitting way to mark our anniversary whilst aligning with our core values.
“Geberit has grown from a small family business to the European market leader for sanitary products over the last 150 years and we’ve always put our customers and communities first. The ‘150 Acts of Kindness’ initiative allowed us to make a real difference and we’re extremely grateful to all of our employees who got involved, as well as our customers and partners who supported us.”
