In 2024, the Geberit Group was awarded the Gold Medal by EcoVadis for its sustainability management. This puts Geberit in the top 5% of the more than 125,000 companies assessed.
The Geberit Group received the Gold Medal from EcoVadis in 2024. This is the second-highest award given as part of the annual EcoVadis assessment. This places Geberit in the top 5% of all companies listed by EcoVadis – across all industries and countries. The award makes it visible to customers and suppliers that Geberit has a comprehensive, systematic and long-term sustainability management system in place.
What is EcoVadis?
Since its foundation in 2007, EcoVadis has developed into one of the world's largest providers of sustainability ratings for companies and has created a global network of over 125,000 rated companies.
EcoVadis carries out risk and performance assessments in 200 industries and over 180 countries. The analysis system comprises 21 criteria, which are divided into four subject areas: Environment, Labour and Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement.
Holistic and verifiable sustainability strategies are becoming increasingly relevant for companies. More and more wholesale customers are demanding that their suppliers transparently report on their sustainability performance. Providers such as EcoVadis make a significant contribution to the transparency of companies’ sustainability performance and thus provide a basis for comparison for customers.
